How To Train To WIDEN The Hips…

How To Train To WIDEN The Hips - Yes, It CAN Be Done!
By Nick Nilsson

To most people, the goal is the opposite…slim the hips. But if you’ve searched in vain for information on how to really INCREASE hip size, you’ve come to the right place! I’ll tell you exactly what kind of training you need to do to achieve this.

Wider hips…it may not be the most common goal of women who train but, I can promise you, there are a LOT of women out there who would LOVE to build wider hips without putting on a lot of fat!

I’ll tell you right now, it’s not going to be easy but it definitely CAN be done!

But first…want to know the reason why it’s so tough to increase hip width without gaining a lot of fat in the area? It all comes down to your bones.

You see, hip width (not counting fat deposits in the area) is primarily determined by your pelvis size. If you’ve got genetically narrow hip bones (you can thank your parents for that!), it’s going to be much tougher to achieve the wider hips you’re looking for.

Posted on Bodybuildingweb.net Blog

A few years ago, research started coming out about the effects of common OTC painkillers effects on muscle growth. If you are new to bodybuilding in recent years, you may have missed the big news when it first came out. Many bodybuilders take them to relieve muscle soreness (DOMS) from weight training or some other ailment and don’t know about this side effect. This is also important to know because many fat burning supplements, such as hydroxycut hardcore, put willow bark ( natural form of aspirin ) in it. Acetaminophen ( Tylenol ) and the class of drugs called ( NSAIDS ), which includes the OTC painkillers, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and naproxen ( Alleve ), all have an effect on protein synthesis.

Newly Discovered Protein May Have Future Use In Treating Obesity…

Posted by muscled1 on 7th March 2008

Protein That Stimulates Fat Formation Discovered

Scientists at the Swedish medical university Karolinska Institutet have discovered a protein that plays a fundamental part in the formation of new fat cells. The protein has a potential use in the treatment of obesity and cachexia (morbid weight loss).

The discovery of the protein, which is called TRAP and which is secreted by immune cells in fat tissue, provides new insights into the chronic fat tissue inflammation that characterises obesity. Using both cell cultures and mice studies, the researchers have shown that TRAP stimulates the formation of new fat cells and can thus precipitate the development of obesity. The results also show that patients with obesity have excessive levels of TRAP.

Train Your Abs Before Or After Your Workout?

Posted by muscled1 on 6th March 2008

1 - Do them first as most people skip abs and calves. Some trainers will prescribe the ab work and calf work first as they are commonly neglected body parts.

2 - There’s no problem with working abs first as long as you still have enough core strength to safely finish your workout.
